Johnny Button (He/Him) is a voice-over artist and an aspiring author. He’s long-time lover of TTRPGs, as well as games like League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Magic: The Gathering.
Johnny will be playing Osa Tenguin. Osa is a young air nomad living in exile. He fled the Southern Air Temple before he could get his tattoos, eschewing most of the air nomad lifestyle.
Steve Durgin (He/Him) is a writer, content creator, and lover of all things story. He watched the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickelodeon as a child and it continues to shape his approach to fantasy and worldbuilding today.
On the gaming side of things, Steve enjoyed making board games from around the age of 8 and was introduced to tabletop roleplaying games through Dungeons & Dragons at age 12. Steve is thrilled to be on the Flying Bison and have an Avatar-style adventure with some friends new and old.
Steve is playing Ren Song. Ren fled to Kyoshi Island away from their parents only to flee from their training as a Kyoshi Warrior.
Monroe Hayden (She/Her) is a filmmaker and actress. Coming from Disney, Hayden is very familiar with the importance of story and character development. Although she can get quite nerdy about films, she was actually the last one in the cast of The Flying Bison Podcast to watch Avatar.
Representing those “late to the game”, Hayden finally understood why the Avatar franchise means so much to so many people and hopes that those who are unfamiliar with the lore will feel encouraged to give it a try.
Monre is playing Leeko. Leeko was orphaned at an early age in the Foggy Swamp and holds to many of the traditions and practices of the Foggy Swamp Tribe. She left though to pursue her own life but just maybe her Dragon-Otter, Ruu can introduce some playfulness into her life.
Nick Kopplin (He/Him) is a programmer and gaming enthusiast. Throughout his life he's dabbled in almost every form of nerdantry, but his passion always lay in gaming and storytelling. Tabletop RPGs had thus always been a special weakness for Nicholas, and so when Danny came to him with the offer of playing a TTRPG set in the incredible world of Avatar the Last Airbender, Nicholas couldn't refuse.
Nick is playing Chaenao "Chae" Lonshur. Chae is an earthbender raised by his brutal firebender father only recently rescued by his long-lost brother Rozuk.
Justin Nitta (He/Him) is a good old-fashioned nerd. He almost wasn't allowed to watch Avatar the Last Airbender when it was on Nickolodeon, but he persisted anyway, and look at him now.
Justin started playing tabletop RPG's with his brother-in-law Danny when Justin bought the Pathfinder Beginner Box after playing the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. It's been nothing but downhill since then. Justin is always trying to convince everyone he knows to try their first tabletop role-playing game.
Justin is the GM and storyteller for the Flying Bison Podcast.
Danny Wickman (He/Him) was introduced to the nerdy side of board gaming at a young age. Throughout middle school and high school, he discovered games such as Magic: The Gathering and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, which he and his brother-in-law Justin thoroughly enjoyed and immersed themselves into.
Soon after he would find his love for TTRPGs through the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, be it GMing a homebrewed campaign or min-maxing characters that shouldn’t be allowed to exist. Now Danny holds a fascination for all things story/lore rich and nerdy.
Danny is playing Rozuk Lonshur. Rozuk escaped with his mother away from Chae and his father, only for Chae to be captured. Now that Rozuk is older he rescued his brother his father's clutches and now the two are on the run.
